The Department of School Education, Government of Telangana, administers the Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test (TSTET). TSTET is held once a year. Notification for TSTET has been issued to determine the eligibility of primary teachers for Telangana’s government’s Zila Parishad, aided unaided and private schools.
It is one of the essential requirements for obtaining a teaching position in primary and secondary schools under the Telangana State Government. Candidates holding a B.Ed. Can take TSTET to gain teaching employment at the primary and secondary levels of education.
The TSTET is divided into two levels: level 1 and level 2. Candidates who pass the level 1 test are hired as primary teachers (classes 1-5), while those who pass the level 2 exam are hired as upper primary teachers (classes 6-8) in Telangana’s private or public schools. However, candidates who qualify at both levels are eligible for positions as primary and upper primary teachers.
The validity of the TSTET certificate has recently been increased from 7 years to a lifetime. Both levels of the TS TET 2024 exam will be taken offline. Interested applicants can research the many features of the TSTET 2024 exam.
