Educational Qualification

Applicants must meet the following academic requirements to be eligible for the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) Junior Research Fellowship:

• The candidates must possess a postgraduate degree with a minimum of 55% in either an M.Sc., M.A., or any other pertinent discipline from an accredited university.

ICMR Recruitment Exam Pattern

There are two steps to the selection process for the Assistant position. The first will be a computer-based test with multiple-choice questions. Depending on the position type, the applicants who are chosen following the CBT will subsequently be called for the skill test. A practical exam will be used for the skill test. The applicants’ performance in these two rounds will be considered when making the final decision.

• There are 80 questions in the test, each worth one mark.

ICMR Recruitment Result

The Indian Council of Medical Research publishes the ICMR Assistant Result for 2024. The three steps of the Selection Process include a written examination, a skills test (when applicable for any category), and document verification.

• Using the login information they generated during the application procedure, applicants who took the recruitment exam can view the ICMR Assistant merit list.

• Along with the ICMR Assistant Result, the Council will also release the Result Merit List. Candidates with scores higher than the cut-off points will have their names and roll numbers listed in the ICMR Assistant merit list for 2024. These applicants will get a call letter inviting them to the skill test.

• The applicants’ performance in the written test and skill test will be used to create the ICMR Assistant Result Merit List.

Minimum Qualifying Marks for ICMR Exam 2024
