DSSSB TGT 2024 Exam Groups

DSSSB TGT Application Process

DSSSB TGT Exam Selection Process

The first phase of the recruitment process is the Written Examination. The written examination consists of two papers.

Paper I is a general knowledge paper and is designed to test the candidate’s knowledge of the topics covered in the syllabus for the post of TGT. Paper II is a subject-specific paper. It will consist of questions related to the subject specified for the post. The duration of this paper is also 2 hours.

The second phase of the DSSSB TGT includes both the objective and descriptive sections. DSSSB TGT Eligibility Criteria

The recruitment process will be conducted in a phased manner. The DSSSB TGT eligibility criteria are as follows:

1. Candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any subject or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution.
2. They must have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the final year of their bachelor’s degree.
3. Aspirants should also have a minimum of two years of teaching experience in a recognized school or college.
4. Candidates must have a valid TET certificate issued by the government of Delhi.
5. Candidates must have a valid Delhi TGT certificate issued by the government of Delhi.
6. Candidates should be able to read, write and speak the Hindi language fluently
7. Candidates must be of Indian nationality and must have a valid Indian passport.

DSSSB TGT Education Qualification

Special Education Eligibility

• 12th grade or its equivalent with at least 50% marks A two-year diploma in elementary education or a four-year bachelor of elementary education (B.El.Ed.) A two-year diploma in education (special education) from a recognized board.

OR

• 12th grade or its equivalent with at least 45% marks A two-year diploma in elementary teaching in compliance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Process) rules of 2002.

OR

• Graduation plus two years Diploma in elementary education  from a recognized Board

Pass the Central Board of Secondary Education’s Central Teacher Eligibility Examination (CTET) (CBSE)

Must have studied Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, or English in secondary school.

DSSSB TGT Syllabus
