The Mains exam assesses the candidates’ knowledge and sense of various subjects. Such as general intelligence and reasoning. General awareness, quantitative aptitude, and English grasp. Candidates who do well in the Mains exam have a higher chance for the UDC post.
After clearing the Prelims and Mains stages of the ESIC UDC exam. Candidates have to appear for the Computer Skill Test. The Test assesses the candidates’ skills in computer operations. Such as typing speed, data entry, and use of basic computer software.
The Computer Skill Test is for 30 minutes. Candidates have to perform tasks such as typing a given passage. Preparing a table or slide, and data entry. The test is in the English language only. Candidates must score a least 17 marks out of 50. To qualify for the UDC post.
