BSSC Eligibility Criteria

The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) published the eligibility criteria in the announcement. The commission’s eligibility standards are the minimum requirements an applicant must meet to complete the online application. 2. Educational Qualifications

There are two types of exams conducted through the BSSC. The first is the Inter Level Exam, and the second is the CGL Exam. Hence, the educational qualifications for these two BSSC Exams are different. Here are the required qualifications asked by the council, as mentioned below.

i) BSSC Inter-Level Exam

A candidate who has passed the intermediate level examination from a recognized board or university can take the Bihar Inter Level Exam 2024. Apart from that, candidates with experience in shorthand typing and stenography will have an advantage in certain positions (clerk, stenographer, etc.).

ii) BSSC CGL Exam

A candidate with a bachelor’s degree or completed graduation from a recognized board or university can take the Bihar CGL Exam 2024.

3. Nationality / Citizenship

Any candidate who is an Indian citizen can apply for the posts that are recruited through the BSSC Exam.

BSSC Exam Pattern 2024

The exam pattern of the Inter Level Exam and the CGL exam conducted by the Bihar Staff Selection Commission( BSSC) has different exam patterns. However, both exams have three main parts. They are the preliminary exam, main exam, and personal interview.

3) Interview Procedure

After qualifying for both of the exams, prelims, and mains, one will go to the round of interviews. So, there will be a panel of 3 to 5 examiners, conductors or authority figures to conduct your interview. They will check your personality, behavior, nature, talking style, the way you express yourself, the knowledge you have, etc.

However, they will choose the candidates who are capable and responsible for the various posts or jobs. Moreover, after the interview part, there will be a document verification of each candidate who goes through all of the levels. The documents that are required for the verification are:

The dates for the Inter-Level and the CGL exams will be declared a few weeks after the commencement of these exams. Following the announcement of the results, the shortlisted candidates will be eligible for the next round.

BSSC Exam 2024 Cutoffs

The Cutoff marks for the BSSC Exam 2024 will be declared when the preliminary and main exams are completed. There will be separate cutoff marks for each category. A candidate needs to secure equal or higher marks than the cutoff marks of his/her category to be selected for the personal interview. This year, the exam has not been conducted yet. Hence, the cutoff marks are not available at this moment.

In order to succeed in the Exam 2024, aspirants must have prepared throughout for a time period of at least 2-3 months before the exam. A candidate must maintain a self-made routine and follow it during that period.
