RBI Assistant Salary

RBI Assistant’s monthly in-hand salary, ie. Gross Pay is Rs 45,050/- after including all the various allowances. The salary range is INR 20,700-1200, (3) 24,300-1440, (4) 30,060-1920, (6) 41,580-2080, (2) 45,740-2370, and (3) 52,850-2850-55,700 (20 years). Aspirants are also eligible for other benefits, such as Dearness Compensation, Housing Allowance, City Compensatory Stipend, Travel Allowances, etc., as they become available. When they choose not to live in the bank’s housing, staff would also receive a 15% housing allowance.

The registration fee is Rs. 450 (for General & OBC Applicants) and Rs. 50 (for Aspirants from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes). The application cost may be paid online through net banking or via a credit or debit card.

RBI Assistant Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants must meet the eligibility requirements regarding age, academic level, and nationality to qualify for the examination. Applicants can review the RBI Assistant eligibility requirements below.

Nationality:

  • (a) Aspirants must be Indian citizens or
  • (b) Subjects of Nepal,
  • (c) Subjects of Bhutan,
  • (d) Refugees from Tibet who entered India before January 1, 1962, to eventually settle entirely there, or
  • (e) People of Indian heritage who crossed into India from Pakistan, Burma, and Sri Lanka, as well as the East African nations of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to have settled indefinitely in India

Age Limit:

Applicants ought to range from the ages of 20 and 28. Applicants can only register if they were born between February 2, 1994, and February 1, 2002 (both days included).

Relaxation of age:

Relaxation for the maximum age limit of five years would be offered to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) aspirants, 3 years to OBC, 10 years to PWD, 10 years to widows/divorced women/ women lawfully split who are not re-married, 5 years to aspirants confined in the Jammu and Kashmir province during the time frame of January 1, 1980, to December 31, 1989, etc.

RBI Assistant Educational Qualification:

To be qualified for the Examination, an applicant must possess a bachelor’s degree in just about any department with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50% (passing category for SC/ST/PwBD applicants). In addition to being fluent in the dominant language of the relevant Union Territory state, he or she must also be familiar with computers.

The candidates must have their registration number, roll number, and password to download the admission card.

RBI Assistant Exam Pattern

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) conducts competitive examinations to fill Assistant positions. The selection process will be divided into three stages. The first phase is the Preliminary Examination, the second is the Main Examination, followed by the third: Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

The preliminary examination will consist of 100 Objective types (multiple choice questions) and will be worth 100 marks in one hour. Only those who pass the RBI prelims exam can take the main exam.
