Engineering Courses Admission Process

Engineering course admissions require students to clear Class 12 in the Science stream with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (with some courses accepting Biology or Computer Science), and achieve between 50-75% marks. One generally follows the steps given below:

  • Entrance exams are national/state examinations such as JEE Main, JEE Advanced, KCET, MHT CET, BITSAT, SRMJEEE, etc.
  • Applications: Submission of the application with relevant documentation before the deadline.
  • Counseling sessions according to the score/merit in the entrance examination.
  • Concludes following payment of fees and verification of documents. Other supporting aspects include but are not limited to interviews, academic performance, extracurricular activities, reservation policies, and in some selected areas such as Marine or Aeronautical Engineering, medical clearance.
