The Name of the temple is BAPS Hindu Mandir also known as (Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha).

The temple is located in Abu Mureikhah, near Al Rahba off the Dubai–Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed Highway.

Significance

The BAPS Hindu Mandir is the first traditional Hindu stone temple in the Middle East.

Inauguration

The temple will be inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 14, 2024.

The temple is built in a traditional Indian style and features intricate carvings and sculptures depicting scenes from Hindu mythology.

Open to the Public

The temple opened for the public from March 1, 2024, Visitors of all faiths are welcome.

Visitor Information

The temple is open from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily, There is no entry fee, but visitors are requested to dress modestly.

The BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha,  the organization that built the  temple, plans to use it as a centre for  interfaith dialogue and understanding.
