Essential documents you receive from the employer and your records you might want to save or transfer, here are some things to know.

Relieving Letter

This states your last day of employment and confirms you have no outstanding obligations to the company.

Experience Letter

This details your employment history, position, and duration at the company. It may also mention your responsibilities and  achievements.

Full and Final Settlement Report

This details your final pay including any unpaid leaves, bonuses, or deductions.

Salary Slips

While not always mandatory, it's good to get your latest payslips, or a salary certificate summarizing your pay details.

No Due Clearance Certificates

These may be separate documents from different departments confirming you have no outstanding dues.
