Lie on your back with knees bent and breathe in through your nose, feeling your stomach rise. Breathe out slowly through pursed lips.

Breathe in through your nose, then exhale slowly through pursed lips, like you're whistling.

Low-impact and easy on the lungs. Walk outdoors in warm weather or on a treadmill indoors if cool air triggers asthma.
