The Haryana Government has extended the HTET Certificate Validity from 7 years to a lifetime, providing greater career flexibility for teaching aspirants in the state.
1
As of August 6, 2024, the HTET Certificate Validity has been extended to a lifetime, marking a significant change for candidates seeking teaching positions in Haryana.
2
HTET Certificates that expired before August 6, 2024, will still be considered valid for any teacher recruitment advertisements published after this notification, ensuring continued eligibility.
3
Expired HTET certificates will not be invalidated, and their Certificate Validity allows candidates to apply for teaching jobs in new recruitment drives.
4
Candidates can make unlimited attempts to acquire an HTET certificate, with the Certificate Validity ensuring they can qualify without restriction on the number of tries.
5
With the HTET Certificate Validity, candidates who already have a certificate can reappear for the exam to improve their scores and enhance their eligibility.
6
If HTET results are delayed or revised, the Certificate Validity will be calculated from the date of the original result declaration, ensuring no loss of eligibility.
7
To maintain Certificate Validity, candidates must score 60% (90/150 marks) in HTET. SC/PH candidates from Haryana need 55% (82/150 marks) to pass.
8
HTET is conducted at three levels—PRT (Level 1), TGT (Level 2), and PGT (Level 3). Each level corresponds to different teaching posts and maintains Certificate Validity for various age groups.
